Medium Size Onions – 2 to 3 (yellow, red, or purple)

Butter or Olive Oil – 2 to 3 tbsp

Pinch of Salt

Balsamic Vinegar – 1 tbsp

How to Caramelize? 

Caramelising onions is a pretty simple process, as one may think of, and it takes only a few minutes to prepare your delicious caramelised onions.

1.Finely Chop the Onion

It is not essential to choose a specific colour onion to caramelise it. Any onion will work the best in this process. Take 2-3 medium-sized onions and cut them into fine bite-sized slices. Make sure the pieces are neither too big nor too small. Cut them evenly and finely, so they may also look appealing after cooking.

2.Prepare the Pan caramelise onions

The most crucial step of the entire process is to prepare the pan and set the perfect heat. Put the flame on medium heat and add 2 tbsp of olive oil and 1 tbsp butter to the pan.
