Medium Size Onions – 2 to 3 (yellow, red, or purple)

Butter or Olive Oil – 2 to 3 tbsp

Pinch of Salt

Balsamic Vinegar – 1 tbsp

1.Finely Chop the Onion

It is not essential to choose a specific colour onion to caramelise it. Any onion will work the best in this process. Take 2-3 medium-sized onions and cut them into fine bite-sized slices.
